YSWS x Rubberneck - Our interview with Dennis Grätsch

We interviewed Dennis Grätsch, Managing Director of Rubberneck, to find out more about his exciting story and share it with you!
YSWS: Hello Dennis, can you tell us more about your company and how you got started?
Dennis Grätsch: We come from the camping sector and started selling to 7-8 of our own brands on the Amazon marketplace. We used FBA (Fulfilment by Amazon), which worked quite well. However, we soon decided to ship from our own warehouse so that we could also serve the other marketplaces and our own shop, so we started to set up our own shop at the beginning of last year and then joined YSWS to get a wider reach and be flexible.
YSWS: What challenge did Rubberneck face when you turned to YSWS?
Dennis Grätsch: The initial situation was that we basically didn’t have our own warehouse, but only used FBA from Amazon warehouses – which wasn’t much, if you like. Shipping via an Amazon warehouse with Amazon was relatively easy, but selling from warehouses with our own shop was a challenge. We tackled this together with YSWS and developed a functioning system together.
YSWS: How did your connection to YSWS go?
Dennis Grätsch: I thought the speed with which we got the system up and running was great. Of course there are difficulties from time to time when connecting to a new system, but I can see that work is being done and solutions are being found quickly.
YSWS: What has changed for you since the connection to YSWS?
Dennis Grätsch: Since we switched from Fulfilment by Amazon to YSWS, the speed at which we can ship has multiplied and our storage costs have fallen. In addition, we can now track our orders easily and clearly via the dashboard and receive support that quickly works out solutions with us.
Was sind Eure nächsten Schritte?
Dennis Grätsch: Da wir jetzt erfolgreich aus unserem eigenen Lager versenden und schon Amazon und Kaufland angeschlossen haben, kümmere ich mich aktuell darum, dass Otto und Ebay als nächstes angebunden werden.
